0.18.0: Favourite rolls and more dice choices

Save favourite rolls, build dice notation with controls, and preview rank-based dice settings in dm-screen.com 0.18.0.

Release 0.18.0 lets you save up to eight favourite rolls and reorder them for quick access. Give a roll a name, or leave it unnamed and use its notation. Shortcuts from the dice input and recent rolls help you save a roll you want to use again.

Build a roll without typing every part

Interactive notation controls cover common dice, bonuses, and keep-highest or keep-lowest modifiers. The active notation stays in place when you submit a roll or recent results update.

Completed results animate in the center of the game screen and pulse in recent rolls. Each completed public or private roll also gets a Hide 3D dice button.

A temporary preview of ranks

This release introduces Hero, Legend, and Ascendant ranks, with paid subscriptions and gifting prepared for a later release. A temporary rank preview made restricted features available to every adventurer at the time. That preview has since ended; release 0.19.0 opened the storefront and applied active-rank requirements.

Hero dice settings cover color, size, instant rolling, power, and maximum duration. Legend adds custom styles including Gemstone, Wooden, and Dice of Rolling. Dice visibility is remembered, too.

The mobile soundboard adopts a compact four-by-four grid. Sound-effect names become optional, with the uploaded filename used when no name is supplied.

See the current dice tools for a walkthrough.
